Hi, Originally from Colombia, I’m also a proud mom of two little ones. I graduated from Rutgers University-Newark Honors College with a major in Neuroscience and Behavior on a pre-health track. As the first woman in my family to attend college, I was inspired to start the Graduate First Generation Low-Income Student Group (GFLI@MIT) at MIT. I am part of the Bioelectronics Group at MIT, working with esteemed professor Dr. Polina Anikeeva. My research explores the fascinating communication between the nervous and immune systems, leveraging the intersections of neuroscience, immunology, and engineering. To begin the process, please fill out the form above and we’ll contact you with more details about MIT’s leading graduate programs. We hope you’ll join us soon!
Sincerely,
