The Office of Graduate Education is pleased to welcome you back to MIT.

Prior to filling out this form, you will need to confirm the details of your return with your home department. This form requires you submit proof of your department's acknowledgement of your return and your proof of funding (fully-funded, partially-funded, or self-funded). These items can be in the same or separate documents.

To process your readmission request, we ask that you fill out the following questions, matching your answers to the best of your abilities to your original application. You will need to fill out your demographic information, your program information, and information about your leave of absence.

Processing Fee:

For students returning after a leave of 1 Academic Years or less, there will not be a readmission processing fee.
For students returning after a leave of 1.5 Academic Years or more, there will be a $75 processing fee for readmission to your program.
